SaveHaro es una localidad y municipio español, situado al noroeste de la comunidad autónoma de La Rioja, siendo cabecera de su comarca homónima y la población más importante de la Rioja Alta. Linda con la provincia de Burgos por los Montes Obarenes al norte y con Álava por el Ebro al este. Su población asciende a 11 557 habitantes según el censo del INE de 2020.
Su actividad económica se centra principalmente en la viticultura y la elaboración de vinos de calidad dentro de la Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, siendo además las bodegas uno de los principales atractivos turísticos,3 recibiendo anualmente a miles de visitantes.4 Cuenta además con un importante patrimonio arquitectónico y urbanístico, entre el que sobresale la portada principal de la iglesia de Santo Tomás, obra de Felipe Vigarny, sus numerosos palacios y el casco antiguo, declarado Conjunto Histórico-Artístico en 1975.5
Destaca su tradicional Batalla del Vino, Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional;6 la tercera procesión de faroles más antigua de España;7 y una de las siete poblaciones que, sin ser capital de provincia, tuvieron una sucursal del Banco de España.8
