A busy spot year-round, Mapleton Park welcomes visitors with trails that extend from Gorge Road to Mapleton Road. The trails run along 122 hectares of forested and open spaces, as well as along the north branch of Hall’s Creek and feature a wetland and lagoon. Interpretive signage located throughout detail the park’s ecosystem, including bird species and vegetation. In winter, some trails are groomed and sanded for walking, while others are left for snowshoeing. The Rotary Pavilion sits off Mapleton Road. It is a popular rental location for community groups and corporate events and offers outdoor ice skating in winter.
