May 11, 2024 @ 7:59am May 11, 2024 | mtb If you can take some pruners with you, please do. The upper section is in need of some clearing in order to get a good flow going. Otherwise you will be brushing bushes with your entire body and hoping you dont run into a rock or an animal. A couple of the stream crossings could also use some work to make them more passable by bike. Overall a fun trail that does require some work even though it looks mainly DH. | Unknown | view
Apr 4, 2024 @ 9:11pm Apr 4, 2024 | mtb Creek running hard, 6-20” in spots and often up to 30ft across. Still fine to walk through but had to carry my bike often. Be prepared for wet feet and slow going. | Wet | view

Mar 13, 2022 @ 9:53am Mar 13, 2022 | mtb Climbed this 3/11/22 to get to Gold Ridge. Somewhat overgrown but easy to push through. I took 30min and cut back the worst part around 1/3 of the way in. Still a bit more there, and another bad spot near the top. As the trail description says, bring clippers and take a few minutes to cut back one or two spots. If everyone did this, trail would be clear in no time! | Variable | view

May 1, 2020 @ 4:54am May 1, 2020 | mtb I believe this was the part of the trail that was overgrown. I came out looking like a snowman, covered in white pollen. Hard to get through the brush with a bike. Not recommended until the trail is cleaned up. | Variable | view
May 1, 2020 @ 4:54am May 1, 2020 | mtb Rocky OHV road, mostly rideable. | Variable | view

Sep 21, 2019 @ 10:03am Sep 21, 2019 | mtb Many rocky sections of HAB. The blue rating seemed appropriate on the rideable sections, but I had to push my bike a lot, and even carry it from time to time. Lots of catclaw overgrowing the trail, adding to the challenge. | Dry | view
Sep 21, 2019 @ 10:03am Sep 21, 2019 | mtb Pretty easy to find this little connector. | Dry | view

Jan 26, 2018 @ 8:29am Jan 26, 2018 | mtb Overgrowth in the area will tear your legs and arms when riding a bike. The trail is in good shape for a remote section, totally rideable. | Unknown | view
Oct 2, 2016 @ 3:11pm Oct 2, 2016 | mtb This is a generally well-maintained Forest Road gravel. Sometimes slippery marbley gravel sometimes ruts, generally strict uphill workout Trail. There are some Shady sections however it's mostly in the Sun. Because of the elevation and proximity to Phoenix, it's a good trail to get out of the city Heat and into some cooler temperatures for a workout. | Dry | view
