Nov 16, 2024 @ 9:57am Nov 16, 2024 | mtb Some rocky/loose sections and some parts of the road are sandy but rideable. Glad I brought my mountain bike though. The loop would be tough/uncomfortable on a gravel bike. | Dry | view
Oct 16, 2024 @ 6:41pm Oct 16, 2024 | mtb We MTB 4 miles of this road from the Vantage end. The grade steepness was good and rideable but most of the road was very rocky and that made the ride less enjoyable. | Dry | view

Apr 13, 2019 @ 12:14pm Apr 13, 2019 | mtb Great conditions for the whole big loop | Dry | view
Sep 12, 2018 @ 4:14pm Sep 12, 2018 | mtb If doing the short route, expect a 4 mile bushwack through sage brush and rocky side-hill. Most of the ride is in the recent burn area, so expect rocky, silty climbs. Plus bike recommended, think partial sand/gravel/baby head action. | Very Dry | view
Apr 23, 2018 @ 10:37pm Apr 23, 2018 | mtb Dry on that side of the hills, some big horn sheep on the bluffs overlooking the parking lot, give em some extra room and enjoy the view! | Very Dry | view
Apr 23, 2017 @ 3:35pm Apr 23, 2017 | mtb Trail is a sheep path ... literally, watch out for bighorn sheep. Clear and dusty with wildflowers blooming! | Dry | view
Apr 15, 2017 @ 10:08pm Apr 15, 2017 | mtb Rode "short" loop on fat bikes Apr 15. Route mostly good, several creek crossings but mostly jumpable. Section down Whiskey Dick drainage isn't really there for 1-2 miles, just following GPS track and intermittent Jeep track. | Dry | view
Oct 16, 2016 @ 4:25pm Oct 16, 2016 | mtb This trail should not be listed in my opinion. I have actually ridden the first 1/4 mile, and it quickly goes from rideable, to technical, to trials riding, to a hiking scramble. Honestly, this doesn't even qualify as a hike-a-bike, as much of the terrain is too technical to walk with a bicycle. That being said, it is a nice walk...... Just leave the bike in the truck. | Dry | view |
