Description:
Great conditions. Mowed and cleared. Iwen North is also open for public use (see below)
From Facebook Page:
We are happy to announce Iwen North is partially complete and open for use. We have cleared Phase 1 (Red in map below). You can start at the boat ramp and head North or access the trail at the Lions Conservancy Park.
It is not a full loop yet and expect two way traffic for part of the trail until we can complete the Phase 2 (Blue Line) construction.
Most of the trail is mowed, raked, and cleared of debris. We'll continue to refine this, but if you need guidance, just look for the bright orange flags and dots.
There are a few logs that still need some clearing and work so don't feel obligated to ride them (carry your bike over if you need to). Also please be respectful of other park users. In particular the disc golf players and people fishing.
This trail is brought to you by many hours of volunteer time and money and in conjunction with Fargo Parks and Recreation. If you see one of the volunteers out on the trail be sure to thank them and if you feel generous, please consider a donation. We put 100% back into trail improvements.
It has not been officially added to yet since it's not fully complete, but for trail conditions you can still check the existing Iwen Trail since it will also apply to this new addition. There are also donation links.
