Description:
Stout climb up the canyon with rock gardens that add to the difficulty. Mostly in the trees. Important to keep the gate closed as the trail is within public grazing land and yes there are cattle throughout. Best to have a bell so not to startle them.
Recommend taking the left fork through the loop at the top. This is the best climb approach to allow you to take the south side of the loop which has some nice berms and twists within the downhill portion of the trail.
