Description:
Hard pack dirt with small to medium size rocks that were easy to ride on top of - occasional sand but not much and rideable. We started at south end at Rock Cliff Marina. We turned around before the “black” section because it was getting really hot. The reservoir breezes kept us cool in most places of trail, but in canyons where wind died it was hot! Did 10 miles round trip but the steep pitches and the heat made it feel like more. Really pretty views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. Wildflowers were out in some places.
