Description:
A well marked and maintained trail. I hiked 2/3rds of it on July 26, 2020. An old two track road wide enough for a quad. The entrance is right behind the granite and metal sign where you turn off the highway at the Caddy Lake end. The parking lot for hikers is very close, first one on your left when you turn off highway 44. The trail mainly parallels the highway for most of the way, and there are opportunities to go out to the road if you get tired. Nice smells, and a beaver came to visit where he/she made their dam right at the edge of the trail.
