Description:
Awesome trail that lives up to it's name. Pretty good skill building trail that includes some fun pump sections, short downhills, challenging climbs that are steep but often short and followed by nice flowy downhills and will challenge your conditioning. Sometimes there is some thick brush that kick back so long socks or pants or knee/shin pads and gloves are good. I just wore shorts and I powered through which was fine but if that kind of thing irritates you wear protective gear.
I rode shortly after it rained throughout the morning. was raining when I woke at 8am and rained till abt 11am. hit the trail at noon and it was humid but trail was pretty dry mostly. didn't slip around at all and maybe there were sections of pine needles but nothing that slowed me down.
Also very easy to navigate this trail if you park at the Brewster Recreational Park circle by the soccer field you can ride this and the trails to the left of the soccer field. I really enjoyed this loop. much better than the trails around Little Cliff and Higgins Pond IMO but riding those as well as this makes for a fun long ride.
