Description:
Trail is in great shape. Fallen trees have recently been removed. Contrary to another report this is a bike trail AND a hiking trail. Strong riders can ride about 80 to 90% of this segment uphill. It has very steep parts, it's rocky and there are several switchbacks that are not rideable, but get into good shape and most of it is doable. It's tough. Ride a light XC bike. The view at the top is worth it, as is the rest of the loop and views around the lake.
