Description:
Very sandy two track. Rideable but slow. Less than a mile in, a spring coming out of the hillside was dammed up - by what seemed to be a combination of human and beaver efforts - to create a cattle pond/swamp that is effectively on top of the trail.
This rider hasn’t seen anything up to this point that suggested it would be worth wading the pond. It certainly wasn’t worth the long drive. Actually, I think I’d rather have ridden the road I drove in on than this trail.
