Description:
The Methow Valley Ranger District sent out the trail crew on the West Fork Methow in August 2020. I was hoping it would become a rideable trail again but, even with all their hard work, I still can’t recommend this ride much beyond Trout Creek. The crew made it to about mile 6 where the trail runs into an impenetrable wall of foliage - see photo. Between Trout Creek and the spot they stopped work is still sometimes overgrown and the tread is littered with spoke breaking sticks and lots of loose rock. The trail to Trout Creek was improved and is fully rideable at the moment- until the next rock slide...

really nice scenery but completely brush filled after about 1/4 mile in view

trail is clear of down to pct, brush is real bad especially after bridge which is out at 2.5mi in. Cannot recommend view
