Trailforks needs to remove this routing. McCarston’s Lake has been closed for years to biking due to the Jefferson Salamander (protected species) nests along the trails wetlands surrounding the west side of the lake. Back in 2014 it was a $180 fine if caught. The Wardon was quite gracious back then but I assume has no tolerance now. It only took a few rouge riders (2014) to stray off the bridges and go for a mudder to kill a bunch of Salamander nests.

Too bad we lost some great riding...
