Description:
Someone has sprinkled a path of glitter all along the trail leading up to the ferry houses. They dumped some on the rocks in the creek. This is just a method to introduce micro plastics into the watershed and the environment. Perhaps a sign with some rules need to be posted for the ferry houses. Maybe a ban on glitter, limiting construction to natural resources, and keeping construction away from the creek? Lately the new additions to the fairy houses are just plastic toys and more than a few contain little more than toys, cocktail stirrers, and a handful of beads. I have spoken to other hikers who feel that they walk on the trails to see nature and most of what has been erected lately is just an eyesore (like the fairy house that is simply a plastic table cloth with a few rocks and a small broken umbrella above it).
Included are some pictures of the glitter in the creek.
