Description:
trails is overrun with all types of cactus. 3 miles on the east is well maintain. the rest is not. lots of softballs size rocks. hike a bike 50% or more.

Work has been done on this trail. Brush has been cleared and rocks removed. Go ride it! view

 same description in May 2021. Very nice on the east side. Then, it slowly gets worse going west, but not all of a sudden. softball and larger rocks, hike a bike 50% and jumping cactus. Hard to find trail, need gps to stay on it, but red tie offs occasionally. I went east to west, ending in spur crossing. Had to yell at cows and bulls in a herd for 2 + miles, because I was too deep, very low on water and not turning back. Not doing again.

 Myself and a friend went west to east in August 1994 and I only had one water bottle. Though I was going to die before I got to the camp ground where I got water from a camper. Then we still had to ride back to the Circle in Cave Creek where we started. 45 mile total trip!!
