Description:
Trail crews were out yesterday (6/4/17) to clear Sierra Cyn in prep for the Genoa Peak Madathon next Saturday. Removed rockfall, trees, and vegetation and fixed some wet spots where there is continuous water flow/seep from the late snowmelt. A few snow patches can be found near the top that are easy to cross. Connection to the Tahoe Rim Trail still has deep snow cover. For now, it's best as an out and back from any of the three Genoa trailheads.
