Description:
Bear plus cub spotted at the saddle. Could be roaming around Kirkman alternate. Also spotted several harmless snakes in the lower (rocky) section. The trail is in great shape. Everything from moon dust to some muddy spots. The rocky section has been fixed a lot since 4 weeks ago.

The top half of the decent is running very well. Ravine section is wet/rocky like always but it’s pretty good. view

many stream crossings right now. Cleared of logs and brush for the first 3/4 mile. Still likely more clearing to do up higher. view
