Jun 09, 2021 State Mountain Bike Course Trail Report

There is a temporary closure in place for all mountain bike trails within Lysterfield. This decision has been made to protect the safety of visitors due to wet and potentially dangerous conditions on the trails. These closures also protect the trail integrity and reduce the amount of damage done the trail conditions. They have been shut under Section 9 of the Lysterfield Park Mountain Bike Maintenance and Development Plan. Signage has been placed in Information Shelters, at Horswood Road, Hallam North Road and at key junctions throughout the park. They will be reopened once deemed safe, have dried out adequately and once trees have been removed from the trails. Please do not ride on the trails. More damage = more volunteer hours fixing and not building.
