Jul 19, 2017 Summerhaven Loop Trail Report

Trail was fun, only saw a couple of ATV's so had the trail mostly to myself, some hills had a lot of round rock from minor washouts which in some cases I had to walk it up, but that was still a workout. I will be back to add on more mileage from checking out the side trails another day. had a couple of wet spots from a recent rain shower but that just added to the fun. nothing bad to report about this trail other than the sandy areas in the gravel pit you cross. There is also a swimming area that you can access from the parking area by taking the trail to the left of the parking area, and then at the Y intersection bear right. I have yet to check that out as well, so really worth a 2nd ride.
