Jul 03, 2021 Upper Bridge Canyon Trail Report

As I wrote in the trail description: There are 2 large areas of CONSIDERABLE deadfall so bad that it makes the trail basically impossible to follow directly in these areas. We are talking 95% of the trees down. You can do it, but be prepared for some serious tree negotiation, you have been warned The first is on the south side of the pass after the last meadow traverse. The second is down near the bottom of Indian Creek and extends for up to a mile up the Indian Creek Valley, which includes your trail junction with the South Fork Indian Creek Trail. No maintenance has been done on this trail in at least 3 years.
