Description:
Plenty of rocks to keep your pace slower than you expect. No water on this segment. Mix of great trees and black carbonized snags. A fair number of hike a bike sections. A few views over summer lake worth the effort on 7/10/2021 smoke from the Bootleg fire a daily occurrence. Occasionally need to search for cairns or trail markers. A few very narrow areas where shrubs are closing in the trail.

30+ trees down. Some sections are severely overgrown and need brushing out. Sometimes difficult to follow trail. Some awesome sections as well,... view
