Description:
A few notes: (1) There is pretty reliable water crossing Gold Cr (7.5mi) and crossing Belmont Cr (15mi), (2) the “road” after crossing Belmont is very grassy and overgrown for several miles, (3) at 18-19mi there is a major logging operation that has created fairly abysmal conditions; very loose gravel covered in several inches of fine loose dust; like riding on beach sand; very bad for 3-4mi and then gradually improves with periodic recurrences on climbs and on descents waiting to surprise you; once you hit the gate at 28mi it’s fine again.
