Aug 04, 2021 Patterson-Morse Trail Report

Hiked the trail from Morse Creek junction up to Morse-Falls Creek Divide. There were illegal motorcycle tracks on the lower 2/3 of the trail. This trail needs some work. There is a lack of drainage dips so when it rains the water just runs down the trail. The lower end of the trail was used for log skidding way back when and is in sloped. The grade is steep so it dosnt take much water to cause erosion. There were several trees down across the trail but in at least the upper end it deterred the motorcycles from going farther and spinning up this steep trail.
