Description:
Spence Mountain trails and trailheads have been temporarily closed due to the extreme fire risk. Just a year ago a human caused fire started two miles up South Ridge trail and fortunately was quickly extinguished. This year Oregon Dept of Forestry has been stretched thin and doesn’t have the people or equipment to respond to a fire so JWTR (landowner) decided to temporarily close Spence.
