Aug 09, 2021 Elkhorn Crest Trail Trail Report

"epic" trail. top 5 in PNW for sure. Ride it East to West. So many view spots its unbelievable. some chunky rocks in spots and lots of exposure but its true high alpine single track riding. most of the time you will be right at 8,000 feet + or - a 100 feet. No water crossings except at twin lakes. Well worth it! Saw a few hiker and a few bikers. otherwise no traffic especially once you get beyond Twin Lakes to the West.
