Description:
This beautiful creek-side trail has re-opened! Rode the first ~6 miles to the waterfalls on 8/10/21. Clear of trees/deadfall (Thank-you Forest Service!), but a few overgrown areas with pricklies. Burn-affected area starts about 3.5miles in. Not complete devastation, but quite shocking still. Trail surface through burned area seems to have survived decently, but there are a few areas the surface is very soft, ash I guess, and unexpected holes from uprooted trees. Parking area has moved about 0.7miles south to the intersection of road nfd57 and nfd5701.
