Ignore the signs. Dr. No was riding good as of last week. Gillard is in a weird limbo...the short story is that formerly unsanctioned (illegal) trails are being rebuilt by MTBCO to the standards required by Rec Sites and Trails BC to become sanctioned (legal). This takes time, and while that happens Rec Sites BC wants to limit their liability. It's a confusing situation...but considering it was only a few years ago that Rec Sites posted No Trespassing signs and threatened to shut down the whole network...definitely not the worst outcome in the short term.  Yeah. I’m Trail builder from the cowichan valley and an advanced skill rider so I wasn’t to concerned about riding past “trail closed” signs but still treaded somewhat cautious as every should if signs are up. And I agree dr No and Casino royal were running fine.
