Description:
Nice to see a trace of snow. 10 inch diameter tree down on first climb. Unfortunately, I cannot remember exactly where. My recollection is halfway between cut block and Viewpoint cabin turn on way up. Tree also down on final descent. This one is 6 inches in diameter, (no handsaw w/me today) and is just as you enter the newer single track section after record ridge meadow. There still is a small hanger before that meadow but it is not in danger of coming down on anybody and it would be very difficult to hit. Trail crew was out there today and the trail is in great shape for this time of year.
