Description:
Whoever Kern is, they deserve a high five. This trail is an awesome out and back especially combined with the Shannon Connector and Tin Cup overlook. On the way up, so many beautiful views and a forest than is spectacular. Reasonable climb and fun flowing downhill as a reward. Note that there is primitive camp spots all along the access road for those equipped to do so. Kudos to the trail crew
