Deliberate sabotage of trail with massive logs, lots of branches and shrubbery intentionally left across the trail making it impassable without dismounting

 @MichaelWYUeP That's how it happens all over the country. Same thing happened to Lower Tredders Trail. I doubt that if it's a grey area trail and not one that the Hurtwood formally sanctions (like Yoghurt Pots, John the Baptist etc.) the impact of the works isn't really taken into account. It's a shame but not much we can do.

 Yes it’s logging work, heavy machinery is definitely required to be working on the size of some of the logs, however the trails have also been deliberately cut off by the works. Its just as easy to leave logs to the side of the trail as it is directly across it. Recent storms may well have had a role to play but if you have seen it in person I think you will agree that it’s deliberate and unnecessary

 Erm @MichaelWYUeP I'm pretty sure that's just logging work and it's done by Forestry England

 It's just Forestry work, there are signs up. They can't have people riding bikes where they're chopping trees down and driving heavy machinery around.
