Jan 26, 2022 Ewok Climb Trail Trail Report

Someone keeps trying to open up an unauthorized new line on this trail at the exit onto the road. Today is the third time this new line has been cut in, and the person not only opened up their new alternate line, but piled a bunch of logs and sticks on the normal trail route. I removed all the logs and sticks from the normal route and closed down the unauthorized alternate route, but whoever you are, please stop. Unauthorized trail building is not allowed at Port Gamble and does not help the image of mountain bikers in the eyes of our community.

Photos show the trail as I found it, with the new line cut in and the main line covered. After the photos were taken, I moved everything back to the original alignment. Trail is rideable now.
