Fra i dag og frem til tirsdag vil Heimevernet øve i Indre Østfold. Dermed må folk være forberedt på å se HV-soldater på Høytorp fort og i Mysen sentrum.
– Vi vil stort sett holde oss på Høytorp, men vil på ettermiddagen tirsdag 15. mars foreta "rolige militærøvelser" i Mysen sentrum. Det vil si at vi ikke skal hverken rope, skrike eller avfyre noen form for løsammunisjon. Seansen vil vare i ca. tre timer. Vi vil bevege oss til fots, og trekker opp på Høytorp når vi avslutter, sier områdesjef for Mysen Jens Grøstad til Indre Østfold kommune.
Soldatene vil fremstå med hjelm, utstyr og våpen. Øvelsen er planlagt over lengre tid og er en av de faste årlige militærøvelsene. Øvelsen har ingenting med situasjonen i Europa å gjøre.

- We will mostly stay at Høytorp, but will in the afternoon on Tuesday 15 March conduct "calm military exercises" in the center of Mysen. That is, we should not shout, scream or fire any kind of loose ammunition. The session will last for approx. three hours. We will move on foot, and pull up on Høytorp when we finish, says area manager for Mysen Jens Grøstad to Indre Østfold municipality.
The soldiers will appear with helmets, equipment and weapons. The exercise is planned over a longer period of time and is one of the regular annual military exercises. The exercise has nothing to do with the situation in Europe.
