Description:
From State Parks:
"Hello all, I hope this message finds everyone well. I want to inform you that after clearing the last few down bay trees, with cross-cut saws, earlier this week Bill’s Trails is ready to be opened for the season. The early season storms resulted in some trail damage that has since been repaired, bridge decking, minor tread failures, down trees etc. As we all know 2022 has not provided much precipitation and the early season soil moisture has come and gone on the trail surface. The rains Sunday night have absorbed and the tread is in good shape. Gates have been opened and stiles removed at Devils Gulch, Stair Step and Barnaby Junctions. The stile is still in place at Stair Step fall trail as that is a pedestrian only trail."
