Description:
Traverse Trail is open now thru July 6th at which point forest health work and logging activity on Bald Mountain will begin. Trucks will be hauling logs down the mountain and utilizing the cat-roads in the vicinity of the ski runs in Frenchmen’s and near Flying Squirrel. The resort will be closing some trails and cat-roads for the summer to help facilitate the work and to provide for the safely of the crews and the public. On July 6, the Traverse Trail/cat-road will be closed to all public use, as will the French Connection Trail/cat-road.
