Description:
Bobcat Ridge: 3 Vehicle Break-ins
I was at Bobcat yesterday - Tuesday, Nov 14th - arriving about 2:10pm. Noticed a vehicle that was obviously broken into (SUV w/ rear window smashed out, glass on the ground and stuff hanging out).
A guy had already called the sheriff and it sounded like a deputy was on the way to take a report, etc. He said 3 vehicles had been broken into. Sounded like maybe this had happened between noon and 1pm. Not sure on all the details as I was just overhearing some of the conversations of who arrived when and saw what. Although, I did see the other break ins... shattered driver's door window on one (silver Toyota I think) and shattered back hatch window on a Prius.
Bottom line, I wanted to share this info so:
1) If you were in the area and have any information on suspicious people/activity to report, please contact the Larimer County sheriff department
2) Keep it in mind so you can keep your valuables safe. (leave them at home? take them with you?)
Sorry for the bad news!
