Very very VERY buggy (black flies and horseflies)… some of the worst I’ve seen. Be prepared. You’ll likely still go insane.

Saw a black bear on 9/5 just above the junction with LESS is the boardwalk area. It was crossing the trail and was neither aggressive nor scared view

 We pulled the chute at the top of lower mystic. Swarmed within 30 seconds. If you can do the whole thing without for long, that’s ideal. But consider what you’d do if you get a flat etc., use very strong bug spray, wear pants and long sleeves….

 Also this report should be for lower LOTS and into the mystic as we didn’t go all the way up due to bugs and I don’t believe it’s clear of snow or dry higher up. I don’t know how to change or delete it sorry!
