Description:
We didn't know about the trail closure for refurbishing...it was not mentioned on the app or at the trail entrance. We came up side cut and hooked up with Magic Line to face a grizzly at about 20 feet from us. Lucky enough he didn't see or notice us.

Still closed until it rains. The trail is being refurbished by a contractor and will reopen soon. view

 Yikes. Exciting story. The trail was marked on Trailforks about 5 days ago. There were also signs at the main entrance and the base of happy Hans ML 2 and the contract had multiple signs up. But not at side cut. If any were missing it’s because others unfortunately pulled them down. Thanks for you patience while this project gets completed.
