Description:
Addendum: Rayonier have confirmed the felled tree is to keep motorised traffic out, access is permitted for normal users however [if you can get past the tree!]

Ostensibly this is closed, tree down at the start has been felled [not fallen] who knows by whom or why but it would be a mission to get around it, one day perhaps I'll try but not today. Last time down here I saw houses and stuff being built at the other end, maybe it's to be closed off... Blue spray paint was noted on the gorse nearby which I've seen around the forest so maybe it's just Rayonier trying to keep riff-raff out

Shock horror the whole track has been turned into a gravel road! Pity there's heaps of fallen trees on it, can't get past them, they are uprooted... view

That tree is a massive pain to get past! There's a slip too. Seems to be private property at the north end, there are now dwellings and a business... view
