Description:
Half the trail was in the shade and therefore icy and traction devices are recommended. The trail is closed at the lower pool due to risk of ice falling so you can’t walk under the falls that feed the pool

3/15/23 - lots of rain means lots of standing water and mud on the trails. Rocks were starting to fall. view

The connection to Kayenta is blocked by a rockslide. Also, intermittent ice, mud, and dry patches. view
