Description:
The Narragansett Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club cleared 43 blowdowns on Dye Hill Trail between Kenney Hill Rd and the Cat Swamp area near the trail fork. We started brushing back the overgrown section between the Brushy Brook Tr junction and the Cat Swamp area. Will need to go out 1-2 more times to connect all the way to where RI DEM stopped coming from Deep Pond Tr end, but its much easier to pass through this section now!

Only 2 minor blowdowns that you can step over left that we can get the next time we're out there. Thickest overgrown parts were addressed during this work day so the trail is much easier to pass through - that's why this section of trail is marked 'minor issue.'
