Description:
It's mud season in Saranac Lake. As of 4/12 all mountain bike trails are still variably covered with snow/ice. With warm temps in the forecast all trails will be wet, soft and muddy for several weeks. Please stay off the Dewey Mountain trails until further notice to prevent damage to soils.

Too wet & fragile for ridin -- expect Dewey to start firming up at the end of May/early June. Will update if it's sooner than that. view
