Chuck ... Gonna need some help! With the additional rain coming, I don’t know if repairing washouts and trying to redirect water is a good idea at this point, but there are a few washouts and trees down. I took pics of a few, but realized I would never finish my lunch ride if I drug everything out each time.
1. Big tree down across the South Upper at Blowing Springs and it’s just before the end of the second up and back...just before you make the corner and hit the second descent they had the 2 foot rock drop at the end. Chainsaw.
2. The s curve berms on Back 40 are wrecked. Deep trench down the middle, and a fallen decaying log at the top of them. We kicked at it, but needs a chainsaw to get it cleared off well.
3. We lost a cool tree off Bomb Diggity. It defines the trail and maybe a big rock added would preserve the current flow. Chainsaw to get to completely cleared, and some rework once the root ball is uprooted. Bummer on this one.
4. There’s a piece of dead tree impeding the trail on the south upper just past the slick short wooden bridge. It’s going to claim someone because it’s bar height. Needs chainsaw to get to cut and out of the way.
