Description:
Dipped off the lands end road to check out whitewater creek as I heard it’s running pretty good. Hadn’t even made it 100 yards and found trail wet enough to have standing water. Others left ruts here and it was that nasty sticky mud. I turned around as I didn’t want to hurt the trail. I rode up to the observatory and even the road close to the top had huge amounts of snow still and started leaving ruts on the road. I got to the top and rode out towards whitewater creek to try to assess how high it is. Couldn’t see it well but it sounded like lots of water. Probably not a good idea to attempt even the lower plunge yet. As of 5/28 cheers
