Description:
Major Water drainage issue, large mud holes.

Entrance has been moved due to excavation work on Blackcomb mountain near Excelerator chair. New entrance is honestly better than the old steep pitch and rode very well in the wet.

Upper flatter section is riding and draining well, despite traffic erosion bringing out some larger roots. Once the trail steepens, things get uglier. Due to high traffic and recent rains, MC appears to have suffered a lot of erosion: several large bomb holes now prevalent throughout the trail, many filled with either standing water or several inches of mud. Unfortunately this is now leading to braiding and widening of the trail in many areas.

Where the trail is clear of holes, it still rides as fun as ever, even in the wet, but overall it is obviously much in need of trail work. Despite the problems I had a great time riding it, though I would suggest a reduction in traffic or voluntary closure until work can be done otherwise the problems will escalate.

Around half way down, a long section is carrying water down the trail. A drainage plan is clearly needed.
