Description:
Cleared the tree that was at head height over the trail.
The danger-ish tree in that same spot is still there, but not much of a priority in my opinion. My layperson's assessment is as follows: bottom end is supported on an ancient cedar stump and is trapped under the remnants of the tree I just cut; middle portion is pinched between the two trunks of a live birch, the top end is hung up in two other trees; and this is in an spot where nobody would have any particular reason to be hanging out. See photos. Obviously @snowdan you're the expert here, but to me it's no more or less risk than several other standing dead trees near that same area.
