A bit sandy, as an ascent, at the bottom. But I had great traction with my tires: Assegai in front and DHR 2 in the rear

Yesterday, the northern half, which is north of Balf Mtn Rd, was sandy and loose enough to be an annoying ascent to Woodsplitter view
