Description:
From the trail head gate for the first mile or so is double track logging road. It is a bit challenging to find the single track, which quickly crosses Miller Flat Creek. The trail becomes luscious and green with a number of small spring and stream crossings that are best to carry your bike over while stepping on stones. Numerous tree falls to cross, where the trail becomes less well defined. Ideal to take a map and have access to GPS. No cell phone coverage, take plenty of water. Going back down after a long time was amazingly fun!
