Description:
on July 29, 2023: Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge has signage up saying all the gravel roads on JollyB east are closed. Couldn't even get to the parking area. Looks temporary?

Trails are open, but drying in various places. Exercise caution and turn around if you are leaving tracks/footprints. view

Region open - some typical areas may still have standing water. Please help by removing debris and small downed trees/branches! view

"ROAD CLOSURES: Starting in July 2023, Rockhouse Road and Jolly B Roads will be closed for road construction work, this closure applies to vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. The closure is to protect visitors while heavy machinery is operating on refuge roads, for your safety please do not enter the closed roads."
