Aug 20, 2023 Old 1916 Trail Report

Very minor overgrowth. There is one downed tree towards the north end of the lake. The trail is listed as a green, which is true overall; however, there are a few areas that would likely be categorized somewhere between dark green and royal blue. It's an amazing trail system; perfect for those learning to ride off-road; there is a new trail that leads riders around the area at the north end where it intersects with the Pacific Coast Trail; thus, bicycles aren't allowed. The new bike-friendly trail is really, really good.
