Description:
Rode Cooper to Hope 8/22/23. much of the trail on the southside below the pass has majorly overgrown vegetation and significant trail rutting, which makes continuous uphill travel quite difficult. Needs to be cut back. North side is more or less fine.

Trail is in great shape at least to mile 12 on the north side. Forest Service has recently done work clearing a couple downed trees and weed... view

1 mid size tree down 8 miles from Hope. A packable saw could probably cut through the skinny end, and a strong person could rotate it off trail. view
